Introduction to The FreshCredit Org's research mission, governance structure, and how to engage with our open research initiatives.
The FreshCredit Organization is a Wyoming 501(c)(3) public benefit corporation dedicated to open scientific research on agent-based financial infrastructure. We conduct research that would not be pursued by for-profit entities alone—long-term, high-risk inquiry into the foundations of trust, identity, and credit access in a decentralized world.
Our work is published openly, licensed fairly, and designed to benefit the public. We are funded through a combination of research grants, framework licensing revenue, and charitable contributions from individuals and organizations who share our vision of financial inclusion.
All research outputs are published openly, free from proprietary lock-in. We believe foundational financial infrastructure should be transparent and auditable.
We set governance policies and technical standards that guide the ecosystem's development, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and public benefit.
Our research focuses on financial inclusion for underserved communities worldwide, with particular attention to cross-cultural and cross-lingual challenges.
We work with academics, data scientists, and industry experts to advance the field of agent-based financial infrastructure.
